Greetings Beautiful People:
I am posting with mixed feelings, as I HATE the word BLOG!!. However, I have decided that I might as well join em, because I can not beat them. So with all that said, here is the first of what I hope is many posts, full of information, good wishes and ramblings of a 28 year Navy Vet with 16 Months to go for my 30.
I started this BLOG as a means to connect with other Vets, promote my home business, and offer support to those getting ready to make the transition to the civilian world. Along the way I hope to meet some wonderful people, dispense solicited advice and learn from those who care to comment.
My philosophy on life is pretty simple, treat people with respect, give an honest days work for an honest days pay, don't hate, and live and let live. I think the world would be a much brighter better place if we could all do these simple things.
I currently live in Hawaii with my wonderful wife (she is a hottie from Texas), my daughter who is the sunshine of my life, two of four sons, and two grandbabies. I also have two sons on the mainland who are sprouting wings or devil tails depending on the day of the week, but I miss them every day.
As my pending retirement looms, I learn more and more about the process of transition from Military to Civilian Life, and have come to realize just how sheltered we in the Military are.
